I have seen the World Pyrotechnic Championships in Toronto. (Yes, there is such a thing and it’s held in a different city every year.)
Seeing fireworks over an alpine lake surrounded on all sides by soaring mountain peaks easily rivals that.
The sounds of the fireworks echoes off the peaks and reverberates all through the mountain valley.
The peaks themselves make for a stunning backdrop. And the reflections on the water double the beauty of the light show in the sky. This is something everyone should put on their bucket list.
