Housesitting generally entails living in someone’s home and taking care of things while they are away. In my most unusual housesitting assignment yet, the homeowner was there the whole time.

She was preparing to move across the country and the assignment was to help her pack and also to help take care of her pets during the whole moving process.

After completely filling two large shipping containers to the brim, this video shows them being loaded onto trucks and hauled away.

This turned out to be a super fun assignment, albeit in a very different way from some of the others I’ve done in much more exotic places.
