Visiting the ORIGINAL Starbucks Location

Finally back in the US after nearly six months, I flew into Seattle recently. Of course, what tourist visit to Seattle would be complete without stopping by to check out the very first Starbucks location? It is located in Pike Place Market and is still open for business.

Naturally, it’s a popular tourist destination. In fact, there’s always a long line of people waiting to get in.

To their credit, Starbucks has a piano player right outside the front door. He is there both to entertain the people waiting in queue and also to draw even more people, ensuring a steady stream of people wishing to worship at the altar of the coffee gods.
