Non-coffee drinker experiences another Starbucks first
I’ll admit, I’m one of those super annoying people who leaps out of bed with the first rays of the sun, singing like a lark. Even worse, I do it all without the benefit of caffeine.
Every once in a while I’ll, have some coffee but when I do I drink it for flavor and it’s a conscious choice. Coffee has never been a habitual daily thing for me.
So some might fine it a bit ironic or even unfair that I have been to two of the holy grails of coffee fandom:
The original Starbucks location. That is, the very first Starbucks ever opened.
And now I’ve also been to the very first Starbucks outside the US.
Granted, the first international Starbucks was opened in Vancouver, Canada. Vancouver is only about two hours’ drive from Seattle. I’ve even heard some jokingly refer to it as a suburb of Seattle.
In my own little twist of mocking irony, I never went inside or got a drink from either one of them.
