Buenos Aires business district

Over by the waterfront is Buenos Aires’ business district. While the gleaming, modern chrome-and-glass skyscrapers don’t have the same charm as the old-world European architecture of the more residential areas, this district is very clean. It has wide, tree-lined boulevards.

Every part I saw of Buenos Aires really impressed me. If it didn’t get so cold in winter, I’d move here in a heartbeat. (Heck, under the right circumstances, I might still move here anyway.)

Aside from the giant office buildings, the business district is also home to a gigantic park and nature reserve. Right inside the city limits. In some of the photos it looks like the city is way off in the distance but that’s just an optical illusion created by my wide-angle lens. I walked it and it’s not more than about ¼ mile.
